A bill for an act relating to public safety; clarifying law on use of force in defense of home and person; codifying and extending Minnesota's self-defense and defense of home laws; eliminating the common law duty to retreat in cases of self defense outside the home; expanding the boundaries of dwelling; creating a presumption in the case of a person entering a dwelling or occupied vehicle by force; extending the rights available to a person in his or her dwelling to a person defending against entry of his or her occupied vehicle;amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section
1.9609.065.

You MN folks, get on board with this one. We need more Castle Doctrines like this around the country. The more, the better. Every law like this is a step in the right direction. Help us take back the Midwest. MI passed laws like this. Help MN do so, too.

Well it happened

My Kneejerk liberal all the world is beutiful Boss linked the following thread,

to this topic, saying that if this bill passes we will have hundreds of thousands of these incidents.
Funny the same argument was made for the CCW law and it never happened. No O'k coral's, no significant jump in crime, yet somehow these types always manage to Paint the picture that we Shoot First ask questions later and shoot indiscriminately to boot.
Isn't it ironic that people who claim all firearms owners will do this are "Enlightened" but
people who say all Muslims are like the 9/11, 8 are bigots to the same people.
