Anyone play with these? I any other competitors make anything like this or only Blackhawk?

I've got one. I really like it, I just wish it wasn't Blackhawk. It holds the two long guns, plus has 2 pockets: 1 padded and zipped, the other unpadded and large velcro flap. The zippered pocket holds 2 triangular padded gun rugs easily, and the flap pocket is big enough for 3 30 round mags, 2 boxes of 12GA shells, 4 boxes of .45, eyes, and ears. I definately DO NOT like the shoulder strap. Actually, the strap itself is fine, it's the little clips on the end. They don't swivel and they're cheaply made. I need to get down to the sporting goods store and find a heavy duty duffle bag strap with good clips. The bag is large enough to hold pretty much anything except for some long-barrelled bolt actions I've got.

Let me just say this: I don't like Blackhawk, but I can't find anyone else that makes a double long gun discreet bag. I know you're looking for a bag that holds 2 long guns, but if you decided you only wanted 1 gun, the Eagle Industries Soft-Hard Discreet Case is the best.

Skunkabilly,

I have sold quite a few of the double rifle cases and they are great. It is one of my next items I am going to purchase for my self. As a Blackhawk dealer I always hear alot of complaints about what someone heard about the product, but I have dealt with many end users of the gear and have had mostly positive responses. These are people who use their gear and not just collect it! I can understand if folks dont like their business practices, but most of the stuff is very well made IMHO and in most cases in stock! Sorry for the little rant.

What I was trying to say was I really dig the case!! I also have two shooting buddies that use the double case and they love it!

Let me clarify. The bag is great with 2 exceptions: The ca-ca strap and it's not made in the USA.

Disclaimer: I am NOT an operator. The bag holds 2 20ft guns. They go 20 feet from my safe into the car and 20 more feet from my car to the firing line. Since my gear lives an easy life, it makes the strap problems I've had unexcusable.

And NO, I don't like their business practices, although their staff is sure a bunch of nice people to talk to.

Tech, do you have this one

Or the one pictured in the first post?

I almost picked one up this weekend but it was the 38" one :(

Too little for my SLB and Benelli.

I have the rectangular one in the first post. It has 2 pockets, a padded and zippered one, and a bellowed velcro one. The one you just posted has two pockets as well, but one is nearly useless (the flat zippered pocket in the triangular area). The other pocket is the padded and zippered kind. I like the bag I have because of the pockets and it's somewhat more discreet.

I buy most of my blackhawk gear direct.
If you like it I can give it to you at dealer price and just replace it later. I haven't really used it yet.

Take care,
Trevor
