I recently bought a 35 year old 870 Wingmaster, it appears to have been a safe queen (well case queen in this situation) with very little use, there are only a couple of issues:
1, Its many years of storage in what I assume was a quilted lined case has left pattern imprinted on the reciever.
2, There is one scratch in the barrel, my guess is that it was made by a diamond ring, it looks just like a blond hair laying along the barrel.
Is there anything that can be done short of rebluing (light polishing, etc) to fix these issues?
thanks Ike
