I recently traded my 10/22 because it just didn't apeal to me and because I have been wanting a cheap 22 bolt action. Anyone have a any suggestion for clip fed bolt action for around 100.00 - 150.00 range?

BTW I have been eyeing the marlins at wallyworld and I think I might go with one of them and put a simmons 22mag on it, what do you think?

I suggest a romanian model 69 training rifle, but ill admit ive been wanting one for a time and it is a biased opinion.

I recommend the Savage .22 series. You can get a MKII with a synthetic stock, regular barrel, and AccuTrigger(10 and 5 round mag. fed), for around $100 or less. I have had mine for over 5 years(non Accu-Trigger, obviously...) and it performs wonderfully. It has excellent accuracy, pretty good trigger pull, IMHO, and the bolt action is really smooth. I never get tired of shooting mine and I am guessing I have put about 8000-10000+ rounds through mine, believe it or not. :)
I like shooting pop cans out to 85-100 yards with it.(easy shot with this gun...)

You can't go wrong with a nice Savage. :D

any marlin, mod 25, 795, 7000 , or tube fed mod 81, any of the 81 series, they are tube fed , but will shoot short, long , or lr's. will hold 25 shorts at one time! Can empty a box of rounds in two feeds! plus their accuracy will smoke a ruger.
