Tuner, you made me do it! After reading your reports on the Springer GI and seeing one at my local dealer, I had to have it! So it went on layaway today (got a birthday coming up). Anyway, as you said the pistol was extremely well fitted; the trigger was crisp & I'd guess about 5 lbs. (did you say how much was on your's; if so, I missed it?); and the overall feel of the pistol was great. As soon as I get it in my hot little hands, I'm going to give it a good wringing out- but not torture it like the Marquis de Tuner! Anyway, I think there are threee things I'm going to replace: the mag. which I've found to be a pos in past SA experiences; the extractor with a Wilson cause I've had such a good drop-in experience with one on that pesky LW Cmdr.; and the slide stop- which would you recommend considering the drop-in ability, looks & function? Thanks for your great reports, and I'll try to give a report on mine when I get it.
