I have been trying to find some good books on Handgun Shooting Techniques that show Proper Grip & Stance, Shot sighting, and Practice drills. I am looking for the books on the basics as well as advanced techiques. I am hoping to find SERIOUS training type books. I see a ton of books in the various publications, but have no idea which are the good ones.

Any suggestions?

P.S. I know there is another thread about "What's in your gun library", but I didn't want to hijack it. :)

Thanks,
Guzz~

Guzz,
Welcome aboard! I'm originally from your neck of the woods. Wish I was back there.

It's a bit dated, but I like No Second Place Winner by William (Bill) Jordan. However, I'm a revolver fan so that helps.

Fast & Fancy Revolver Shooting -Ed McGivern
The Pistol Shooter's Treasury -Various (Edited/Published by Gil Hebard)
With Winning in Mind -Lanny Basham
Refinement & Repitition: Dry Fire Drills for Dramatic Improvement -Steve Anderson
Practical Shooting-Beyond Fundamentals -Brian Enos

Note that Basham's With Winning in Mind is written from the perspective of a competitive rifle shooter. However, much of what he's written is not only applicable to other forms of shooting, but also life in general.

I recently bought tactical pistol shooting by Erik Lawrence, it was a good read, although it's my only book so far.
