Hi all, need some advice.
I want to order some lead boolits for my 9mm (CZ 75 B) and my 357 mag
( Ruger Blackhawk).
Am thinking to order from Keadbullets .com, I will be using 38 spl. in the Ruger.
These bullets will be used for target only.
Question is:
What bullet for each caliber do you think would be the best.
Thank you so much for any input.

KEAD is a good choice. He makes a good bullet.
I would go with the 158 SWC in the .38 and his 125 RN in the 9mm.

"KEAD" by the way, stands for "kill 'em all dead". Long story there, but I got it from the horse's mouth.

I shoot my cast 124 grain TC style bullets sized .357" or .358" that I use in my 9's and 38 special. See if you can get a sample pack of your bullet choice sized to these diameters, and give them a try. If the bullet will allow easy chambering in your CZ (with proper OAL of course), then the diameter is fine even if it is .358"... Lead bullets very easily swage down w/o any problems if using proper charge weights.

Bad/too small diameter, and poor lube are the two top reasons for poor cast bullet performance in my experience and opinion. Good luck.

Also, yes, you will need to crimp the bullets for proper performance/functioning. A light taper crimp for the 9 to just take out all flare, decent roll crimp for the 38. Don't over do either.

Thanks guys for the input, very much appreciated.
And Jim I have cast my own boolits, but not over Buffalo chips, couldn't find any dry enough.
And by the way s.h.i.t. means (ship high in transit) the early settlers did this to keep the dung dry. Hehe.
