Bore Snake scatches Glock Barrel?

Shoulda bought the Glock 7. I hear that porcelain construction costs more than what most of us makes in a month.
What does that have to do with anything. I love how a guy can come on here ask for help and have the brand of gun get bashed. It's sad that a guy can't even ask for help and give the gun brand without getting bashed about it.
Now I agree no one uses my guns unless I am there but that's a whole different thread.

As stated above, either your barrel ain't really damaged, or your buddy is lying to you about how he treated it. Them's the options. ;)

There's no way whatsoever that a bore snake scratched a glock barrel. To even think so is crazy in my opinion. I run a bore snake down shotgun barrel and it always "looks" like it has scratches. That's because the bronze bristles do scratch away at the layer of carbon, fouling and crud in the barrel. Once I do a real cleaning, the bore sparkles like new without a "scratch" to be seen. If the barrel is really scratched, it was done with something other than a bore snake.

Die Hard reference meant as a joke, I'm betting.

It was a laugh at the expensive of Hollywood, not Glock.

Yep, it was a reference to Die Hard 2 as a joke. Sorry, I didn't mean to actually poke fun at the OP's choice of gun. Glocks rock. I also have a Beretta that bends the rounds down the range too. :p

I was hoping the porcelain part would've made it obvious though.
