Bought a knife from a buddy today

Hey all, he showed me two Voss knives and I really liked this smaller one. The larger one was over the top, looked like something conan the barbarian would carry.

Brand new with a dark brown double stitched leather reinforced snap sheath.
No marking on the sheath.

The knife is about 6 inches in the blade, the handle is brass and bone with red and black inlay bands. Most of the weight is in the handle. The blade is extremely sharp and never used. On one side it is marked Voss Cutlery Co. on the other side it is marked German Stainless Rostfrei.

I figured for $25 bucks plus the fact I happened to like it and the handle fits my hand perfectly, how could I go wrong?

That's a Frost Cutlery brand. Frost is out of SE TN and has their knives made offshore. They're a "bargan brand" company.

The MSRP is at $99 and street price is around $40 so you got a good deal.
