Bought the Wife a new gun

My wife hates the LCP I bought her last year, two weeks ago we went and handled guns. She decided on a Beretta 92FS.

I picked it up this morning. This thing feels like a GUN compared to the LCP and Sigma. She is at the indoor range as we speak.

I felt so good about myself for being so nice I just had to buy myself a 1k round case of range ammo.

Doesn't like how small it is, can't find bullets...

She is a damn good shot with it, but just doesn't like it. Hates the trigger.

They've got a couple items that are priced lower than you'd expect for being the manufacturer.

Cheaper than dirt is selling Beretta factory mags (actually ended up being a division of Beretta or a subcontractor or something) for $19.99. Got mine the other day and the only difference is the lack of the PB stamp. Looks and functions like the factory mag though, perfect.

Yeah....it's kind of confusing. Was this bought for her carry gun or a range gun? There's an ...uhhhhh.... slight difference between the size and intended use of those 2 pistols.

buying your wife a LCP as a range gun is a nice way to make her hate shooting. i don't get it.

I didn't buy her an LCP as a range gun.

I bought it as a carry gun, she decided she didn't like carrying a gun in public. She also didn't like the LCP. I don't like the fact that she isn't carrying, but it isn't my decision to make.

So.. I got her the Beretta as a range gun because she likes shooting. She doesn't like shooting the LCP. I took her to the gun store to handle guns and decide whats SHE liked. She picked the Beretta, so I surprised her with it yesterday morning. I was so excited about surprising her,I went to buy it directly after having a tooth pulled.

I got the missus to go with me to the range at TP in West Monroe for the first time recently. She's got a snubbie for carry, but she likes the heavy autos for range trips.

I'm probably going to head up there tomorrow. I've been itching to fire the 92 since I saw it. May get my CCW license soon.

I have my convinced my wife to at least keep the LCP in the car with her. Better than nothing.
