I know this information is scattered in multiple places or throughout an entire thread, but I have the time to prices together all the information or get the answers to specific questions I have.

I initially wasn't going to SBR any 0f my firearms, but I changed my mind. Now I have one day to get this done. I created an online account with the ATF to submit a Form 1. I'm not doing a Trust.

1. Can someone briefly give me the cliffnotes on what all I have to do?
2. I believe I need to take a photo of the serial number and engravings. Do I have to get fingerprints done before I submit the forum?
3. Do I have to notify law enforcement and get paperwork signed?
4. What external task do I need to do?

You can submit the form, then mail the fingerprints.
I can't answer the other one, I used silencershops form1 service to submit mine when it was available.

I didn’t watch the video but I can answer 2-4 if it didn’t.

1. I believe I need to take a photo of the serial number and engravings. Do I have to get fingerprints done before I submit the forum? No, but they have to be done and in the mail within 10 days.
2. Do I have to notify law enforcement and get paperwork signed? No signature needed. When you fill out the form it asks who your local CLEO is. Once the form is completed you need to print out a copy of the application and just give it to them. It’s a notification only, not a request for approval.
3. What external task do I need to do? Do fingerprints, take passport photo and markings photo before submitting the application so you can upload them, print out the form that gets mailed with your fingerprint cards.

I read that the markings photo was only required if it was a trust and not as an individual, so I didn't submit them last night. The only photo I submitted was my passport photo.

I guess I will find out soon enough if I messed up or not. That's what I get for waiting until the last minute.

Photos of the markings are generally not needed if that brand/model is already in the ATF system. But it never hurts to submit photos of markings either.
