"Glock Perfection" Sorry, couldn't resist.

Of course it did keep running, so I guess. Odd that you couldn't feel anything in the cycling of the slide. Hope they get her fixed or replaced for you.

"Glock Perfection"
Yeah I sent pics to my brother who is a glock fanboy, with the subject "perfection."

LOL

I was impressed that it was still running with a broken frame rail. My LCP was still running when the back of the frame snapped off also. Modern designs are pretty dang forgiving.

Glock called me today, very friendly and helpful CS rep. Said they could send a replacement frame directly to me. I asked if they had OD green but he said the replacements are black. Which is fine with me. So... good service so far!

Friend had a small part break on his G26. He paid the shipping to them and got it back in 10 days with a brand new frame with all new parts. He was happy...

I had the same thing happen to my Glock 21, it was a police trade in. I contacted Glock, and they said to send it in. I had to pay to ship it to them, but they replaced the frame and gave me new magazines.

Nice to hear that Glock took good care of you with the new frame. Let us know how things go with the replacement.

I saw a post on Glocktalk I think a while back where after a range session a guy was bragging to his friend how easy it was to field strip his Glock (19?) and when he removed the slide he heard parts falling on the bench. He looked down and noticed BOTH rear lugs were sheared off. LOL...the pistol was still functioning. That was at the peak of the "E" frame "non-recall".

Anyway, good on you.

Glock paid shipping twice for my gen 3 19 that was stove piping and brass to my face. They finally put a different ejector and extractor, and it's been 100% ever since.
