Maybe someone out there can help. I have a nearly new Browning Buckmark. Fired may be 200-300 rounds through it. It has never worked as it should. About every 10th round it would fail to cycle and sometimes misfire. I'm fairly new to pistol shooting so I was trying different ammo to see if that was the problem. I cleaned it as best I could without dissembling it. Last week, after shooting a dozen or so rounds, it failed to fire and behaved as if the safety was on. I gave up and attempted to eject the cartridge. But, now the bolt is stuck, the safety is stuck too, and a live round is in the chamber. The nearest authorized Browning service center is a 4 hour drive. I plan to take it to a local gunsmith, but he's not available until next weekend. Has this happened to others out there? What did you do about it? I bought Buckmark because I heard good things about them. I now have 3 other pistols including a Browning 1911 .22 and it functions perfectly as do my Walther PPK/S .22 and my GSG 1911 .22. So now I've had enough experience to know the gun is the problem, not me or the ammo. I'll appreciate any help you can offer.
