Where is the best place to purchase bulk ammo? I am looking for 55gr .223/5.56mm and 230 gr .45acp. I am looking for the best price and excellent customer service, speedy shipping would be nice but not to important. I don't want steel cased ammo or low grade ammo that might damage my firearms.

AIM usually has pretty good prices on .223 but they're currently out of brass cased stuff. Widener's is another good source. They currently have Prvi Partisan 55gr for $330/1000 rounds.

Ammo Recall

Not long ago Winchester Rimfire ammo was recalled. Their WildCat 22 was the main target because of double charging the powder load. Please check the stock(lot) numbers on the boxes of ammo you may find at local sporting stores. Look into Winchesters website, they have the info.

I just ordered 1k new brass manufacture .223 from them which came to just under .36/round which is a steal these days Looks like it just came online today.

You AR shooters better jump on it before the arfcommers see it.
