Bushnell Trs-25

I am contemplating putting a Trs-25 red dot sight on my 582 Mini-30. I want to
mount it to the integral scope mounts on the receiver. I have been and I am in
the process of researching what I will need to mount it and just what
issues I may run into in the process. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I have some ideas but some of them would be trial and error and would add some possibly avoidable cost. Thanks in advance.

There a couple of options. Burris makes a mount that allows the use of Weaver rings on Ruger integral mounts. Warne has a Pic rail that clamps directly to the Mini-14 mounts. The Warne is more expensive but would make a very neat installation.
Brownells carries both.

I'd look at the Millet 1" tube model, I believe its just long enough to fit the Ruger rings that should have came with your rifle. It only costs about $70 and you won't need to buy anything else. I've one on my 629 where it used the rings from the Leupold scope I had initially and later sold here.

If I recall, it has a smaller dot than the TRS-25 does, which is usually a plus for use on a rifle.

Thanks wally. I am looking at the Millett Red Dot Variable Sized Dot linked below as a possibility. $65.00 with the discount and free shipping. Good reviews from what I have seen.
