I have filled at the application on line to get my C&R How long does it take you guys from the time you fill it out on line to the time you get you'r license to start to buy.
Thanks

It can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 4 months....depends on how fast the ATF feels like processing paperwork. Good luck. Make lots of photocopies as soon as you get it, and don't sign the original!!!

Takes about 1 week to get your forms. (could be longer with the holiday stuck in there)

After sending the forms in for the license, how long it takes depends on what area of the country you're in. 2 weeks is the fastest (12 days is the shortest I've heard), up to 3-4 months in other cases. Took 15 days to get mine. They will process your paymet first, before they even look at your application.

I got mine in a shade under 2 weeks. That is probably just about as fast as they come. Others take months; it's hard to tell. Just keep an eye out- the envelope it comes in can easily be mistaken for junk mail and thrown away.

I printed the application form off the website, then mailed it in.

Got my C&R in less than a month.:)

I received my C&R in about 3 weeks, BIG bundle of paperwork... Like others have said document everything, even if you don't think it is a big deal.

Mine took me 34 business days. I've heard of as short as 8 days and up to "9months and still waiting..." on one of the C&R forums I visited.

Okay well I received all my paper work filled everything out and sent it all back it went out december 22 They charged my credit card on january the 9th and still today still have not received anything. Has any one ever contacted anybody to see what was going on with their application If so do you have a number to call.
Thanks

From what I've seen, if you happen to be mailing yours to the Atlanta office, it is anywhere in the range of 2 weeks to 6 weeks. I've not seen many statements over that around here. My card got charged last week, I'm axiously awaiting the arrival. :D

The length of time it takes to process the application depends on the workload of the agent handling your area. For example, I live in the Dallas area .. and the Agent who does Dallas, also handles Fort Worth, all of North Texas as well as Austin.

You can imagine why it took mine 3 months to get to me.

I finally just received it I thought some were on here I found a list of the best places to send it to also does it have to be mailed or can it be faxed.
