When you buy items that are on sale you can make out big through Cabelas. I buy all my 22lr ammo there.

I just bought 1k 6mm bullets from C since I got 20.00 C bucks, looked at another site next morning, bullets on sale 8.00 cheaper than C, they wouldn't price match and I'm really bad at returning stuff so I just ordered 2k more from the other site, just to lower my loss on the first batch.... I know, it doesn't make any sense but it's early and I'm on my first cup of coffee.

In financial circles, this is called "dollar cost averaging or averaging down" - a smart move to lower the overall cost of each bullet. So, it does make sense.

Yep, I knew there was a point somewhere. I forgot to mention, It was 8.00 cheaper / box of 250 = 32.00 - 20.00 C bucks, so for 12.00 I did not want to return them, hence I ordered 2k from the other place which is 8 boxes and I'm still not up to my coffee intake.

Seems like the max order just went to 7 boxes. so they are running out.
