Picked up a Canik S-120 about a week ago from Bud's via Gunbroker. They're selling them on Gunbroker at a pretty decent discount. $349 before shipping.

Anyways, I went to the range last week and fired about 150 rounds of my reloads through it. This gun is accurate, and the all steel construction soaks up recoil nicely.

The Good-$350 for a CZ75B clone ain't too shabby. The gun is accurate, ergonomic, and points instinctively for me.

The Bad-Stock trigger sucks. I replaced the hammer spring with one from Cajun Gunworks. Not sure what the poundage is, but you can easily replace the hammer spring through him, or one from Wolff. The stock grips are too thick, and cheap plastic. This is easily remedied with aftermarket or CZ grips. The paint on the sights were a weird blend of white, and puke green. I removed the paint with brake cleaner and a toothpick and repainted them with green paint.

The Ugly-Not happy about the "Warning" billboard running down the left front of the frame.

Overall, I'm pleased with the gun. The "Bads" are easy and cheap to remedy. If they end up making a clone if a CZ97, I'll be all over that like a fat kid on a donut.

I bought one a few months ago on gunbroker for $379 and consider it a fine gun for the money. The Turks are making very good copies of the CZ pistols. The all- metal Canik guns are accurate and beautifully polished inside. The chrome barrels and feed ramp are as good as any gun made. It shoots everything I feed it with accuracy too. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

I got one a couple months ago at Bud's because I couldn't find a real CZ 75b anywhere. I can't compare it to a real CZ as I've never shot one, but if the real thing shoots even better than my S-120, that would be nirvana. I'm very happy with my Canik. Mine came with two 15 round mags, but I bought a couple 17 rounder Mecgar mags for a little higher capacity.

I agree on the grips. I also got the Hogue grip pictured above and it fits and feels so much better. Never had a malfunction yet with about 200 rnds through it. Highly recommended firearm.

That is a nice looking CZ clone. I keep hearing great things about the Caniks. While I do have two CZ's which I really like, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up one of these.

I think the hammers look cheap on these guns, other than that they look decent. Try a nice set of VZ G10 grips on your gun, they are fantastic.

I have a C100 which is a fine pistol and am thinking about the L-120.

I have 3 of the compact models, a T-100 . (Tristar) and a pair of Stingrays. I think they are the best buys I ever made in handguns.
