I answered based on my most carried primary defensive handguns, a .357 Magnum 3" S&W Model 13 RB and a .38 Special Taurus 85SSUL.

My "most carried" gun is my BUG, a .32 ACP KelTec P32. It's what I carry when I don't want to carry a gun. <Snicker.> It's basically 8 rounds of "bang" that will allow me to reload my primaries. I tend to carry both revolvers at the same time, one right, one left.

Doesn't anyone carry P7's?

My G21 with standard Winchester 230 rangers is all I need.....and my Keltec 380 with fed hydras.....waiting to pick up a G30.....maybe a PPS hahaha

i have 2 guns that i carry one is a kahr k-40 and the other is a xd sc in .40 i think ns are a necesity, i like polymer frames, though the kahr is steel framed i know but it is a sweet pistol. i alwasys carry an extra mag or 2. both have less than 4" barrels and i use standard pressure ammo but also there is no +P or +p+ in .40 but i probally wouldn't anyway. and there is always a rd chambered.

I answered in what I would carry. It is an HK P2000 or HK P2000sk with some spare magazines. I have nightsights, a polymer frame, no manual safety, and a round chambered. I would carry +p ammo but I dont believe they make +P ammo in .40 S&W.

I carry an XD9-SC on a Comp-Tac C.T.A.C. IWB holster. Mine has night Sights. Load is regular Blazer Brass 115, although I think I may be switching to hollow points soon. I was surprised at the few responses for carrying with a laser sight. With as popular, and expensive, as these are I would have expected a lot more people to be carrying with them. I am not sure that the laser sights are worth the investment as a SD addition to your carry gun.

Would have liked to see "lightweight frame" instead of polymer, or the addition of another category (aluminum frame, etc). I don't carry any plastic, but I do indeed carry alloy.

This Ruger KP97 works for me. Loaded with Win 230 gr SXTs, carried with one in the chamber.
