Say you were going to carry a S&W 625 or 610 revolver for "duty" use. How would you carry your spare ammunition? There are speedloader pouches a plenty to be had, but what kind of pouch would you use to make moonclip reloads easily accessible on the duty belt? Would you have to resort to using a pouch just full of them, or what?

Hey NC!!! :) How ya doin??

If moonclips are the std steel ones then it is quite possible to put one of the rounds thru top of belt and whole deal will stay put quite well. Some speedloaded pouches will do OK but - as no ''handle'' on moonclips - getting the suckers out a tad tricky sometimes.

The plastic moonclips tho are too soft to do this and so (I am getting some to try) will expect to have these somewhat ''lose in pocket'' .... preferably an external and large patch pocket.

Stay safe dude ......

I carry the extra moonclips for my 940 in my right front pocket, with the gun at 4 O'clock IWB. I would like to get a 646 and then I would rethink the pocket idea.

I just use speedloader pouches and poke the tip of my finger thru the hole in the moonclip to get them out the pouch.
