I wonder if Brownells will be next. Their website seemed a bit tasked earlier this morning and their phone has been busy all day.

Same on ammoman and other sites.

AmmunitionToGo has "Due to the extremely high volume of orders that we are receiving at this time we are experiencing a processing delay of 10 to 12 business days. We are working very hard every day to keep the delays minimal. Your patience is greatly appreciated! Thank you for your business! "

Also have friends who have reported their orders being CANCELLED after placing them, with refunds going to their credit cards "within 10 business days".

Dreamliner;

I checked two wholesalers I have accounts at; supplies of AR's/AK's are exhausted, supplies of "non-premium" ($1.00/rd+) 5.56/7.62 are exhausted. Winchester USA (white box) rifle ammo exhausted on those.

I'm still seeing some LARGE supplies of handgun ammo out there.

So far the Supreme Leader hasn't mentioned handguns, or has his buddies in the media; but when he gets around to it.... :uhoh:

Banic buying has stripped every WalMart within 50 miles of me of every AR, stripped the shelves of 2 local gun shops (including the ARs they were building), stripped the Gander of their ARs. Same for magazines. Much the same for ammunition.

Friends in ID, SC, TX tell me the same story.

The banic is in full swing this time and you can expect it to go on a bit.

Brownells sells 3.5 years worth of magazines in 36 hours.

You betcha!!

Panic buying at it's finest!!

Isn't it great.:D

I don't care why people are buying guns, just as long as they are buying them.

Today just for the heck of it I went to the three local gun stores.
Just a couple days ago the racks were filled with AR and AK rifles.
Today the racks were bare and the counters were deep in customers looking for almost any semi auto rifle.

I heard a clerk tell a customer, "We are out of 9mm (practice) ammo but we still have some JHP defense ammo".

In the last store (near my home) the manager had been on the phone for over an hour waiting for a NICS check.

sportmansguide is still going strong. bought some 9mm the other night and it shipped the very next day. look at them guys if your having trouble with other ammo/accessory suppliers

Out in Prescott J&G Sales is in deep too.

Dear J&G Customer,

We at J&G Sales want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas. We hope you have a wonderful time with friends and family and are richly blessed this season.

Due to very high order volume we have sold out of many items. Additionally answers to your emails are several days behind, and you will have trouble getting through on the phone. If you placed an order please wait, shipping delays are currently a week or two. Please refrain from emailing or calling us to check if your order is proceeding. If there is a problem we will contact you. We are working through the orders and email questions as fast as we can. We will try to fill all orders that have been received, but certain items are oversold and many orders will be cancelled. We will notify you if your order is cancelled or the items sell out.

You will notice items being removed from our website as they sell out. They will be added again to the website when more become available. Please keep checking back to see availability of previously sold out items. We are unsure of how many of these items we will be able to restock, and prices to replenish from manufacturers and suppliers are starting to rise as demand increases prices. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Again we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Sincerely,
The J&G Team

Gun stores are running out of magazines. I can't even find old-school 20 round AR mags in KC right now. And ammo prices! I never thought I'd see .30 cent WOLF ammo. It isn't worth .30 cents! The whole cartridge itself probably cost the illiterate Russian peasant who made it five cents.

I just hope this doesn't happen to reloading gear. Or I may sell my AR-15 to buy something cheaper, like an Springfield M1A or Kel-Tec RFB. :D

On a whim, I ordered 240 rounds of Brown Bear 7.62x39 from Sportsman's Guide last night, used a promo code for free shipping for a grand total of $66. Shortly thereafter it was out of stock. Guess I caught it at the right time. Shipped today too, very pleased.

I imagine most places have tumbleweeds in their warehouses.

Dang, I was just thinking I should order a few more 20-round Mini-14 mags and Hi-Power mags. (I have a few 30's already but I like the 20's better) And CDNN is my goto place for magazines.

.223 dies are out of stock at Midways.
Knew I should have added them to my cyber monday shopping cart.
And I dont even own a .223 rifle (yet, after christmas i'll be picking up a savage axis)

Really hope I get my ammo from ammotogo. Ordered a few nights ago when it said 5-8 days for processing.
