I bought a CAI side by side 12 gague coach shotgun about 6 months ago and recently the right side has been experiencing light primer strikes, resulting in failure to fire . The model I have has exposed hammers. It previously has worked well with about 300 shells through it. I have thoroughly cleaned the firearm without improvement. I'm not sure if this would be a problem with a weak spring or something else. The left side functions without problems, and I don't see anything wrong or abnormal with the firing mechanism on the right side as compared to the left side. Any good ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
I'm sure I'll get some well-deserved flak about buying a cheap chinese shotgun . I did not buy it for home defense, I only use it for recreational shooting.
