Hey cleetus how did you manage to buy alot of magazine clips? Im trying to buy some but it cost more buying them online cause of the shipping. I like the gun. Especially the holding mags. Anyone selling some mossberg plinkster 702 magazines cheap. Let me know.

1. It looks like the the rear sling swivel goes through the Butt-sleeve mag carrier, is that what you did?

Yup, tapped a hole in the butt and forearm and twisted the swivels right on in. Applied some JB weld to the front for a more secure hold.

2. There also seems to be some sort of band on the front swivel, what did you do there?

Dont pay attention to that... It's a black zip tie when I lost the front forearm screw. Needless to say, I replaced the screw with one from Lowes, and the ziptie was promptly cutoff. It now free-floats again.

3. I'm also curious if you can tell me the brand of sling you put on the rifle.

The cheapest one from Wal-Mart which I believe was $8.97 or something.

Fortunately for me.....I acquired the Magazines from Wal-Mart last year on a ridiculous clearance they had for $7 a pop. I so wish I would of bought more as they no longer sell rifle mags in my area wal-mart.

What size ammo carrier did you use?

A $5 9 rd rifle carrier bought from gander mountain.

do you know of anyone selling a peep sight for the 702? I have mine scoped but would rather have a peep. I've looked everywhere i could think to but no luck.
Any input is appreciated.

bought one last week....

BIGGEST POS ever...

sights are canted, and off by like 12", way beyond adjustable, and does nothing but jam jam jam... and the extractor broke at about 220 rounds... good product... NOT...

it didnt work outta the box... so after a thorough cleaning and reassembly, i thought i had fixed it, but nope... still a POS... going back to mossberg tomorro

Any other providers out there that make a decent sight for a 802?(702 and 802 are the same sight mounting right?)
