So my brother in law decided to buy an ak 47 sigth unseen for 450 with 500 rounds of ammo. He also order a new stock fore grip and mags. After getting the gun its found out to be a chineses hunter with a slanted back where the stock ataches and none of the parts other than the top cover fit, even the mags needed filing to work. Does anyone have any knowledge or info on where to get get replacemt furniture?? Thanks. Pics on request send me an email. And ill get u a pick.

You need to read up on 922r before modifying the gun. That was made by Norinco or Polytech and will be subject to 922r (Parts Count) Do a search on here and read up.

Then, I believe Ironwood makes a slant back furniture kit for it (I think).

You can do a conversion on those somewhat like a Saiga conversion, but there's not as much support out there. 922r is an issue as noted.

You have got a unique specimen.

You'll most likely have to make a custom order to add anything to it.

As far as the "mags needed filing", this shouldn't be necessary (I hope the previous owner hasn't buggered it up).
