I've been doing alot of research on my next CCW and its come down to these attributes..

Must be a 9mm
Total length: less than 6 inches
Total Height: less than 4.5 inches

Thanks for your input!

I have nothing bad to say about my P11. Some will disagree but it passed my test for an everyday carry gun. It is finicky with ammunition, does not like heavier hollow points like a 147. With the short barrel it works best with a lighter hollow point like a 115 anyways

You can add a Hogue handall Jr. slip-on rubber grip to tame its mildly annoying recoil. It is not a high-end gun but you get more than what you pay for IMHO.

Oh, and welcome to the site!

Kahr PM9

After mine was broken in after 200 rounds, it's been 100% reliable. It is also the easiest sub-compact I've shot to group well at 21 feet. Trigger is one of the best DAO. It'll go in most of my pockets.

It is my go almost anywhere gun.

Kahr PM9

Have not found anything better.
Mine feeds/fires anything that fits in the mag.
Soft-shooting and far more accurate than my scandium Smith (now gone).

I will look at the PF9 if it is ever distributed, but I've been holding my breath since February or so...

Glock 29. 10 round mag in the gun w/15 round backup mag. 25 rounds of 10mm in a small package. Whoo Hoo!

S&W 442 or 642. If you plan to carry something P-11 size, might as well go with the Taurus PT-145 or 745 as Hypnogator suggested.

Off your list only, I like the Kahr :D If open to other makes & models....I'd go w/ HK P2000sk w/ LEM or Glock 26/27 :D

CZ 2075 RAMI, I have one in .40 S&W that will be my primary carry. I have a P3AT that will be my backup to it or my carry if I can't conceal the RAMI.

I like the RAMI because it's the same manual of arms as my other CZs and I can carry C&L. It can also be carried like a traditional DA but I like C&L best. The 9mm version packs 10+1 and you can use standard CZ 75 magazines as well so you can carry 15 round reloads.

I shot mine against primarily 1911s and SIGs in a charity action pistol match and placed mid field. Not to bad for a sub-compact going up against full size guns. Shots were from as far as 40 yards and I can hit 8" plates with it from 25 yards pretty quickly.

YMMV and all that.

It's slightly over your dimension requirements:

* 6.5” long x 4.7” high x 1.25” wide
* 3” barrel
* Weighs less than 25 ounces
* 10+1 in 9mm

Here's a link to a picture comparing it to the CZ 85 Compact and the "huge" CZ 97B (which actually isn't any bigger than a Beretta 92). Picture Here

XD .40 S&W subcompact

The other selections would work. I haven't been able to find a subcompact as accurate as the XD in the either the 9 mm or .40 S&W up to 50 feet. Recently added a lasermax and night sights.

PM9

I voted for the Kahr, but I have read concerning things about the P-series. Despite its additional weight, I would probably side with the MK-9 as it seems to be extremely durable/reliable.

The only gun I carry is a KT P-32 which doesn't meet your caliber requirement.

list some decent handguns for ccw for your poll .....
I carry a Springfield Ultra Compact 45ACP, CZ PO1, G26, and sometimes a AMT back-up 45ACP....
