Christmas Wish List (Rifle)

[Redneck with a 40]

Today my folks asked me what I would like for Christmas. After thinking about it for awhile, I dont need anymore clothes, I have plenty of ammo/reloading gear, I dont need anymore pistols or centerfire rifles. Then it dawned on me, I've always wanted a 22 magnum bolt action rifle. I saw a sweet looking Savage model 93F at the gun show for $230, I handled it, felt great. I checked out their website, full pop retail on this gun is $206, so he was high. Dick's sporting goods here in town is a Savage dealer, hopefully his price is closer to the $206. So there we have it, my Christmas wish list is this rifle. They look well made and Savage has been getting great reviews lately, I think I talked my old man into getting it for me. Whoo-hoo! Now all I will need is a rimfire scope and some good 40 grain JHP ammo, will make an awesome varming rifle.

After I pay for the next semester of college, depending on how much money I have left over, I will either get an AR180B($575) or a WASR($300).

If I were given the choice of any rifle, for Christmas, I would have to choose:
• M14/M1A 'Bush' rifle
• Sharps 'Quigley' rifle in either .45/70 Gov't, or .45/110 (even though this rifle would be about a 3-year wait!)

Yep after I have next semester paid for I will finish with my reloading supplies. Denver inst. scale, powder, and primers for the .50. Then in the spring I will get my nightforce NXS scope. I might buy a blank AR reciever just to have...
