THR isn't TFL
Don't get me wrong: I'm glad THR is here, and I intend to stay here for a good long time.
But it's not TFL.
THR has a life of its own, now. It grew from the community that was first built at TFL, and it's good (oh, so good) that much of that community is intact, here.
But we have new faces amongst us, too. We have new fora. A new focus. A new hand at the helm.
We will build a good place here, a community of friends, a strong beacon to shine the light of freedom. If we do it right, perhaps one day this place will be the touchstone for others that TFL was for many of us.
It would be sad, if with all the potential in this place, it turned out to be nothing more than a pale shadow of TFL -- a sham, an imitation. A wannabe.
But I don't think that's where we're going. I think we'll remember TFL, as the place that first brought many of us together, and as the place where many of us began to realize the importance of the RKBA.
THR will build a community of its own, a life of its own.
And that's the way it should be.
