Any experience?

Looking at installing a Cmore Serendipity on a 1911 Gov't chambered in 45 acp. Research and discussions with the gunsmith / builder reveals they work with no issues on a 9mm chambering but throwing the 45 acp trash can out the 1911 ejector port when the sight is mounted can be a problem. I don't mind paying the smith for the install, just want to keep any additional required work to fix new headaches to a minimum.

I'm thinking using a Cmore Railway and a separate mount, probably a Weigand, may be less problematic in the long run. The liitle voice in the back of my head seems to be telling me the extra money for the mount to get the sight higher may more than cover the labor involved if ejection issues after install have to get addressed.

Appreciate any input, good, bad or neutral from those that may have gone this route already.

Take Care
