CNN (& others?) claiming pro-2A Senators taking a hit in polls...

...of course, when they also at least admit that the Bloomberg $-machine is going after them with both barrels, a thinking person realizes that "they" are probably able to carefully select the people they poll...

So how do we fight back against a media that is helping carry on Obama's temper tantrum he threw after the "Universal Background Check" vote didn't go his way? A media that would love nothing more than for people to think there are angry mobs surrounding the pro-2A Senators 24/7 since then?

Of course pro-2A Senators are taking a hit in the polls. Didn't you know that 90% of Americans supported universal background checks? It's true. I heard the President say so repeatedly in those same news outlets.

I don't think CNN has any credibility left. If they are not exactly honest in reporting so why should anyone believe them? Regarding Bloomberg and many of his bizarre comments which he said the constitution must change (after Boston), and his fixation about the size of soda containers...I'm sure some are wondering if he is a little 'off'.


The media itself is suspect, long gone are the days of neutral unbiased reporting and fact checking. The public knows this and are going to other sources to get the facts. Where did CNN get their poll data from? The U.K? The groundswell for gun rights from the public is enormous. People get it, gun rights isn't about duck hunting or shooting Bambi. It is about self defense.

The fact that we have an ammo shortage shows many care about gun rights and that is something that media can never manipulate.

Who's polls?

In the politician's state or some vague regional/national poll?

Scientific unbiased polls or some internet/TV/newspaper informal poll?

If not an informal poll is it Gallup or some of the biased sources (like the ONE that fished the 90% number)?

AND, today's polls aren't very relevant to elections because they're far too far from the critical 6mos before the voters actually do anything.

Yes, we need to be looking for ALL polls and deciphering what they're asking to see if they're "attack polls" or if they're objective scientific polls, but we also need to be looking for ways to support those politicians that protected our rights (support = $ or sweat equity).

Agreed there...just didn't know what else we could do to try and set things straight for the people out there who DO believe the latest "90% lie" (remember "90% of illegal guns from Mexico came from America" - ?). Those who DO actually think that CNN and others are actually unbiased.

Maybe it's not a big thing to worry about...heck, maybe it could be a GOOD thing by making antis complacent...
