Oh, wait I saw it move!!! No, sorry false alarm, I scrolled down by accident.

Great link SemperFi83, I'll be keeping my eye on this.

I think I finally found a group that can give peta a run for their money in the B.S. dept.

Sometimes the solution/ defense is to JOIN the bad guys....

Hey, I don't like AARP's reported anti-gun stance, but I like "old fart's discounts" so being a member I can vote (I think) in the board elections! And can CERTAINLY voice my objections to anything I don't like as a member.

Anybody follow all that??

Stay safe.
Bob

All for reducing the violence against assault weapons.

After all by themselves, they never hurt anybody............

Not only do they oppose the 2nd Amendment, but they are squarely against Social Security reform. I will not join them. I figure my lack of financial support is stronger vote than my vote in board elections. Most places that give the AARP discount do so based on age rather than AARP membership.

Gun Control
AARP believes in the Constitutional right to bear arms. But to make the nation safer, we must do what we can to keep guns out of hands of children and criminals. AARP supported the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, which went into law in 1994 with bi-partisan support, but was allowed to expire this year.

I got my eye on that EBR.......it hasn't moved yet.........but I can tell it's getting ready to kill.....I think I saw it twitch...............

They have a bayonet on it now donated by Model 1 Sales. BRILLIANT!

BTW... is this an anti-anti-gun site? Very Bizzarro.

Is it a scam to get $ to buy guns for themselves? Perhaps we should set up some for ourselves and have the dupes give us $ to pay for our ARs and ammo. :)

Taurus: Read that 'someplace' a few years ago-that's why I said reportedly.
Looks like some of the other can be more specific. If they're for Brady, they ain't for me; even if it is "for the children"!

Carl: You're right about the discount- old is old even without the AARP card.

It was just a thought!

Stay safe.

Pretty funny site. I mean people should realize that EBR is harmless, thats not a sling, its a leash, plus I bet it's probably neutered and housebroken too. :D

Taurus: Back when Florida was passing its on demand CCW law, the AARP was among the "blood flowing in the streets" crowd.

Standing Wolf: I also try never to do business with anti 2nd Amendment businesses and organizations.
