The way the Colorado law is written says nobody but law enforcement can have a gun in schools k-12 grades and that localities can make their own rules as to Open Carry. For a University to ban concealed carry would be like a town banning semi-trucks because they are allowed to ban Jakebrakes.
Does this ruling also apply to Junior/Community Colleges as well? I'm in the application process for the Trinidad Gunsmith Program, and being able to not deal with the grey area of 'operable' firearms in my dorm would be nice.
You can carry concealed on any campus that is a member of the Colorado Community College System and have been able to for a few years now. There was a press release on their website when it was first approved but it has been a few years. http://www.cccs.edu/index.htm
You might try poking around and seeing what you can find.
