If these pistols are new in the box they are quite valuable,IF they are original guns. So you are at a crossroads. As far as value they would easily be $3000 apiece, and that would be a great deal ay that price. But when you go to re sell them you are going to have the pistols appraised and authenticated to make any money on them.
Or you tip your hand to the owner and ask him if they have been appraised and if not, would he object to having them appraised. After they are appraised it likely will be a deal breaker.
I would advise that you do some research on these, because the chances are quite slim that they are new in the box, unless they come out of a museum. At that time period they were in great demand and cost to much to put away in the closet. I suspect they are replicas which is a whole different story
