A few months back I bought some VZ Grips for my Springfield 9mm 1911. I got some #313B grip screws w/hex head from Wilson Combat, that included an allen wrench. The wrench included with the Wilson screws worked fine to remove the stock screws from my SA 1911. I have since decided to put the VZ grips on my Colt 45acp 1911. But, the wrench that came with the Wilson screws doesn't fit the stock screws in my Colt 1911. Does anyone know what kind of screws these are and were I could get a tool to remove them.

That almost looks like a torx screw (star bit). Just go to Lowe's or auto zone and get folding key sets for allan in SAE and metric, and a torx set. Shouldn't cost more than $20 for all 3. As a gun guy, you should have all 3 anyway on hand.Between the 3 folding sets, something will fit those screws.

They appear to be Allen head screws. I don't know if there is a universal standard for Allen head screws like these but I can say I have ordered screws like these more than once (from Brownell's) for my Colt and they always took a 3/32" Allen wrench.

I have a universal allen key tool. I just plug and play till i get the right size. however 3/32 is pretty common i noticed.
