I picked up a colt .22 short derringer the other day for $80. The gun was in pretty good shape but had not been cleaned in a long time. After cleaning up the barrel I noticed the rifling is in good condition, but extremely light. My plan for this gun was to thread the barrel for one of my .22 suppressors but now I don’t know if the rifling will stabilize the projectile.

Has anyone ever had one of these? Did it stabilize the projectiles? I don’t want a baffle strike in one of my suppressors.

Thanks, Dan

Probably a bad idea... not that it's worth a LOT, its' definitely worth more than the $80 you paid. Would suck to ruin a can for the novelty of it.
