Colt Anaconda pricing

Well I found a fellow with a Colt Anaconda 44 mag with a 6inch barrel. He wants $575 for it. So I'm left with a question of do I buy it. Right now I'm torn between the Colt or getting one of the 2 weapons I have on layaway off of layaway. It will be my 3rd Colt and second Anaconda, I already have one with a 4 inch barrel. Decisions. Decisions.

For $575 these days then it's a no brainer. Buy that thing as fast as you can get the money out of your pocket. Or let me know where it is.

Met a fellow that had an Anaconda in .45 long colt he was thinking of selling. After doing some dealing he talked himself out of getting rid of it. Would really liked to have grabbed onto that one.

The Anaconda has worked its way into collector status. $575 is not unreasonable. 6" .44 magnum Anacondas will be selling for $850+ by 2010. Fact is, Colt did not make all that many Anacondas; and Colt collectors are nutz.

Anacondas have been running around $600 the last couple years, so, for one in nice shape, $575 is a fine deal
You won't lose money on buying a Colt revolver
jump on it and move on.

6" .44 magnum Anacondas will be selling for $850+ by 2010.

Anacondas are selling for close to $1000 right now.

I suppose I'm old fashioned. I normally need to know the condition, and what it actually is, before I would suggest a fair price range. Example: "Current manufactured" that's how it is listed, price in Bluebook is 100%(NIB) $850, 98% $475, 95% $400, 90% $335. 1990-1999 manufactured 100% $750, 98% $600, 95% $500, and 90% $430. I don't claim to be an expert on this particular firearm, but I'm guessing in my area(NM), they would go slightly higher. ADDED: The "Anocanda Hunter", and the "Anocanda 1st Edition" list for $1095, and $950 respectively(100%), in Bluebook.
