Ala Dan:

1)Beautiful, just beautiful! My eyes almost popped out!:what::what: :what:

2)You really have me "Enthused" now-as I'll be picking up the same approximate vintage of a Colt Cobra(3-inch).22 caliber revolver, that was sold to me in NIB condition-and, I'll be posting some pictures of it here, once I have received it! :D Thanks for sharing!

Nice one, Ala Dan! I've got a mint 2nd and 3rd generation DS as well, but in blue. It's too bad Colt doesn't make them anymore because the DS is a true classic.

If I had that I'd become like Gollum and call it "my precioussssss....".

Nice revolver, Dan!

I bet you see a lot of great guns where you work, lucky dog!

Colt Detective Special

I have a 3rd generation nickel Detective Special that is sitting in my safe.
Beautiful, but just not quite my cup of tea. Love those Glocks:rolleyes:
Don't know if I will keep it or Glock-up.

Anyway, they are very nice.

Here's a photo of my 1966 and my 1974. both are shooters, hence the rubber grips. Real fun to plink with.

You really should picture that with an old typewriter and a fedora maybe a bottle of rye...

SILENT ONE

Nice to see, I rarely see factory nickel Colt DA revolvers. I think only like 5% of production was so finished.
