Trucks is an automotive how to show they show on the speed channel and on spike.

The host was rebuilding a WWII Dodge power wagon in tribute to B17's.
He went to a vintage aircraft restoration facility and talked with a couple of Vets about their experiences.

The host ends up walking out with 2 Browning 50 calibers to mount in the back of the Power wagon.

They don't ever install stuff that doesn't work so I'm curious to see how they will mount the guns.

I am wondering on how they did the firearms transfer however...

M2s run around $30,000. Even semis are around $2,000.

I didn't see the show, but I'm willing to bet they were dummy guns.

I'm pretty sure I saw that the receivers were cut and really sloppily re-welded. Probably inoperably dummies. For the show though they might swap on some real ones owned by someone else or the army/NG or something, just to get the video.

The truck project was started sometime last year. The project is named "Sgt. Rock". The last time the host mentioned the project, the truck was in the body shop. I can't waite to see how he mounts those guns.

My wife says I want that truck, I told her I'd be much happier if I had those heavy machine guns.

Monster Garage put some fully functional machine guns on a golf-ball collector. They were golf-ball caliber, though. :)
