Coolness Factor!!!

For the cool hand cannon factor a BFR in 30-30 would be nice. Inexpensive ammo and serious knockdown power. The Ruger Alaskan is still pretty cool though.

I originally meant to use the word "cool" to apply to the actual purchaser's opinion if faced with these two options at a gun shop, not necessarily the opinions of that person's peers .

I had been looking for one for almost a year and when I happened to be in a local sporting goods store they had one in the showcase, I snapped it up quicker than you can say "Great Balls O Fire"! here is a video of the Alaskan with 240 gr. Magtech:
