Corbon: Wimp round

I used to think Corbon was the most Powerful hardest kicking +P round out there. I knew the LSWCHP 158 gr Remington was actually more powerful and penetrated and expanded more, but the Corbon just gave a vicious kick when fired.

Weeeell......all that changed today when I was firing Buffalo Bore .38 Special +P 158 gr LSWCHP through my Python. WHAM WHAM!!!!!!!! Put Corbon's through it and it felt like shooting a .22 long compared to the Buffalo Bore.

Corbon has been pretty strong for me in the past that stuff must hit pretty hard. Do you have specs?

Buffalo Bore: .38 SPEC +P 158 gr. L.S.W.C.H.P.--G.C. (1,000fps/M.E. 351 ft.lbs.) 2.0 inch barrel (Shooting out of a 4 inch barrel I estimate you would get around 1100 fps.)

Huh, I'll have to stay away from that one. Federal 158gr Hydra-shok in .357 is probably the hottest one I've shoot. Tossed me and my model 19 around a bit.

You're comparing apples and oranges, a 110 grain bullet doesn't kick as hard as a 158 grain bullet when going at similar velocities.
