Went out shooting my Walker today.
I have not shot this pistol much. I did not know until reading here that you could use wads or grease but that both were not required. Wads sure are less mess!
Two things happened today and I was hoping some of the collective wisdom here may have some insight.
I had a hard time keeping the caps on through six shots. By the third shot the next cap up would be loose. Is there a trick to this? I am using CCI number 11's.
Also, a couple of times the cylinder would develop a drag to it. The first time it did this I pulled the barrel, re seated it and resumed firing.
But it did it again and the area of drag felt like it was on the inside of the cylinder at the back of the cylinder pin.
Is there a common cause for this?
I zapped a milk jug full of water from about 50 yards. Zowie!!
