Given what's going on in Florida it's as good a time as any for people to get trained on current Ohio self defense law, and how you should handle a self-defense situation. You even get to bounce hypotheticals off an attorney for a couple hours, and on the cheap. First class is up on April 22 from 5:30 to 8:30. There'll be a couple classes in May as well, the 12th from 4 to 7, and the 16th from 6 to 9. In the future this will be a $100 class, and I'm convinced it will be a good deal at that price. For those of you willing to take the plunge early without word-of-mouth, it's starting out at $50. If you're interested shoot me an email to [email protected].

Class description:

This course is a Shooter/Attorney taught 3 hour seminar on the Law of Self-Defense in Ohio. Introductory price is $50/person which is a fantastic deal. You'll walk away with more knowledge on Ohio self-defense law than many attorneys, and a course pack that includes the case law and examples from which the course lessons are derived.

Isn't it time you stopped reading the Internet to draw conclusions on what you should know before, and do after the moment of truth?

This course will be taught by John Litle, a criminal attorney in central Ohio, NRA Certified Instructor, and avid shooter. John teaches courses for other attorneys on self-defense law and castle doctrine in addition to his practice, in which he handles criminal felony cases exclusively. He is lead counsel on over 150 felony cases per year, tries on average 10 jury trials per year, the majority of which are charged as offenses of violence.

Furthermore, John trains consistently to improve his firearms skills and tactical mindset, having attended numerous courses by Magpul Dynamics and RSKTKR consulting in addition to regular personal firearms training. He is a member at the Richwood Gun and Game Club, and former member at the Big Darby Creek Shooting Range. He has volunteered with Buckeye Firearms Association, and is certified in NRA personal protection inside the home, basic pistol, and home firearm safety instruction.

In the field of law John has instructed for the Ohio Municipal Attorney's Association, the Columbus Bar Associtation, and spoken at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law on self-defense law, castle doctrine and Ohio concealed carry law.

At this introductory price you're paying $50 to get top notch legal instruction from a shooter's perspective, and you'll be walking away with the materials that back up what you've learned.

These classes will be held in Columbus, but arrangements can be made for private groups at your location with alternate pricing.

Thanks for your consideration folks.
