I like how the permit to buy ammo is proposed by someone with the name "Looney". The name "Tong", also means poop in Korean.

Yea, for a minute there I thought it was my old pal Pat Looney the Marlborough CT building inspector. His name fits his personality to a tee. Now I see there's at least one more Looney in the state...

Well, I just spent the last hour emailing Jodi, Joe Liberman, Joe Courtney, my local rep and senator. Dang, forgot Dodd. Sigh... back to the emails... :p

I hope you all do the same. BTW I contacted Lieberman and Courtney concering national reciprocity which also happens to be on the table in both the US House and US Senate.

So does that mean birds are undead?

Any chance you have a shortcut to all these email addresses? I'll do the digging if you don't have them readily available, but thought it might help our cause if it were made easier, even if just in this thread.

It certainly seems these laws, one by one, drip by drip, are by in large designed to let the govenment know where and who has the guns and how much ammo they possess. Once they know this, whats to prevent them from (whatever circular logic law they can come with) the need of confiscation. And in case you were thinking you can claim they were stolen... that will wind you up in prison for no reporting it when it happened. The one gun a month law is designed to put what few stores we have left in Ct out of business. There is most definitely a triangulation going on here in CT.

Being the bleeding heart liberal state we are, it doesn't take much to tug at the emotional heart strings of the voting block of Lemmings. Manipulating emotion is the greatest weapon the Dems have. And they & the media are masters at it. Common sense and facts be damned. How's that saying go... "The older I get, the more conservative I become."
