I'm going to be getting one of these soon and know right now I'll want different grips.

What options are out there? I'm left handed so are my options limited?

being left handed should not be a problem unless you go for the thumb rest variety and this is usually offered . You might check with ruger since they do offer a nice set of wood grips in their catolog. I think they use cocobolo wood.Do a search at this forum and others for ruger grips. I have bought some nice sets off ebay. Most grip manufacturers offer a set, such firms as hogue, letts, pachmayr, and herritts to name a few. You can go more advanced with grips from fung and esmeralda.

I disagree.... Ruger's got a set of the Thumbrest style for lefties as well. Not sure they fit the mkiii's. ii's they do.

Tactical solutions has some really nice aluminum grips. I love mine.

I checked their website, and they have no pics or info up. They mention them in their price-list (w/ no price given), but that's all. When did you order yours?

Any pics?

Hogue does make some downright handsome wood grips but being more than a bit money challenged I'm quite happy with their plain old rubber thumb rest grips.
