I handled a CZ 83 (I think) in .32 ACP today.
It's an interesting little pistol. It can be carried cocked and locked, like a 1911, had ambi safeties and came with two magazines. I think they were 15 shot mags. It would conceal well in an IWB holster, and might even work in a pocket holster. Other versions of this gun come in 9mm Makarov and .380. I'd not heard of a .32 before.

The dealer seemed as interested in it as I was. He kept telling me what a neat little gun it was.
I have a sneaking fondness for the .32ACP and I'd be very interested in the CZ, if there wasn't a Smith & Wesson M657 in the same pistol display case.

There is a real reason that the "lowly" .32's are still with us... they work! I like both the .32 Magnum/Long as well as the ACP. I know of a man that was issued a Mauser HSC in .32 ACP. The threaded barrel permmitted him to employ a suppressor that reduced the pistol's report to that of a hand clap.

Its astounding how well the "little .32" can kill when employed at a maximum range of 3 feet! :uhoh:
