So I took my new CZ-52 to the range yesterday, WOW! Very powerful, very fun to shoot. The only problem is it shoots about 4 inches below point of aim at 15 yards. I've only put 100 rounds through it, will this get better as it gets broken in, or do I need to have work done to the sights. If that is the case, what needs to be done? Thanks in advance for your help!

P.S. Shooting this cannon really helped my rimfire shooting! My last group of the day with a Citation was the size of a quarter!

you'll need a higher rear sight by about .100' I believe.
formula for height or windage adjustment divide the amount shooting off in inches by distance your shooting st in inches 4'divided by 180' =.0222
multiply barrel length by .0222 gives you the amount up or down that sight needs adjusting. This works for windage as well

Before you start filing the front sight or changing the rear sight, try changing the way you're holding it. A change in hand position sometimes works wonders.

...and don't forget that your point of impact is often determined by your ammunition. Try some different ammo, Lord knows that there are a bunch of different MilSurp and commercial loadings in 7.62 x 25!

Buck's right

Faster ammo leaves the barrel so quickly it isnt affected by recoil barrell jump. My 7.62 x 25 reloads are right on a 2" bull at 15 yards at 1252 fps but as soon as I put the 1400 fps Sellier & Bellot ammo in it ashe shoots 4" low.
