I've noticed that many holster makers specify "9mm only" when they list leather for a CZ 75B. While still others don't mention caliber at all.

Is there really some major difference in dimensions between the 9mm and the .40S&W CZ 75s?

No, there is no difference. I have 2 Galco holsters for my 75 in .40. One is a pancake style Combat Master that is listed for the CZ-75b in general. The other is an IWB that is actually listed for the Sig 226. Fits the 75 perfectly. I want to say it's called the Summer Comfort or something like that. Those are both good holsters, though for CCW I almost always go with the IWB rig. Don't be put off by the "9mm version only" thing.

CZ75 Pre-Bs and CZ75Bs in 9mm don't have a full lug profile like the 75B in .40 and the 75SA.

Most holster companies that deal with CZs ( like High Noon
and Hazel Leather) can answer most questions concerning holsters.
