I have had this problem with my Cz for along time and I cant figure out what to do. The slide will lock back after the last round fired but will slam forward after taking out the mag. I have tried everything, including trying different magazines, changing the slide lock lever, disasembling/reasembling. When the slide locks back and I push up on the lever it will hold the slide back when I take out the mag, but if I dont the slide will slam forwar.

For some reason this problem usually only happends after I shoot a few magazines worth of ammo at the range. The first 3 or 4 magazines will lock the slide back and I can take the mag out normaly but after that the slide will start slamming forwar.

I suspect that my slide is just worn down, I noticed that where the locking lever holds the slide back it is somewhat worn down and that might be causing the problem.

Here is a pic of the worn spot.

Any advice would be much apreciated.

I had a similar issue with mine and never did find a good solution.

On mine it appears the pin the slide lock lever rotates on has loosened, giving inconsistant slide lock at empty.

Mine also broke it's "hardened" aftermarket fireing pin, cracked it's new grips, threw an extractor across the range, and has pins backing out all over during fireing. I really wish I had bought a Tokarev when they were still around...
