GAH!!!!

I have an M44. Love that gun! I was given a great deal on two Finns, M28 and an M39. Couldn't resist them!

I shoot them all the time, they are wonderful guns! But... but.....

I find myself swooning over these rifles.... Not just any one, but... A PU Sniper version.

It all started when I showed my roomie the trailer for Enemy at the Gates (she loves jude law).

Then I started thinking, "I wonder how much those rifles are going for these days..."

Plus I'm about to receive a lot of money in the form of refunds....

I want to wrap it in burlap and love it forever.

And I figure nightvision scopes are only going to get cheaper....:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

THR, what is wrong with me?

Um, you are asking the wrong question at the wrong place if you want a bunch of gun guys to tell you there is anything wrong with lusting over, wanting, buying, dreaming about, or vertially any good feeling towards a gun! So I of course say GO FOR IT! But please submit pics as soon as you get her home! :D

You could buy more, but buying as many as you want will only slow the progress of this disease. I'm sorry man, but there is no hope for you.:D

I am right there with you, though I have managed to reduce my total to just one. I love me some Mosins.

The same could be said of most mil-surps though. I love 'em! Springfields, Swedish Mausers, K31's, Enfields... I love them all and shoot them more frequently than any of my other guns combined...

I just bought a Mosin 91/30 on saturday and now I want another one already too. Id really like a Finnish one.

Ha! I wish I had Mosinitis. But Lil' Johnny Howard had to come along and spoil everyone's fun...

Hey, it could be worse . . . I mean, Mosins are way cheaper than a lot of prescription drugs . . .

Asking for a cure to Mosin Nagant Disease (commonly called mosinitis) here is akin to trying to stop drinking in a discount bar. :neener:

Enjoy... no, Relish the Sickness!

Saw a guy shooting one at the range on Sunday when I went. Iron sights, and the bug tried to creep in on me. I fought it off the only way I knew how... by going back to my R15 and trying to put 3 rounds in the same ragged hole...

Deer Hunter,
You have it bad. You love rifles and have a bad case of OCD! There is no cure. In addition, your addictive behavior coupled with OCD will drive you to looking for more and more rifles in pristine condition which will then lead you to not wanting to shoot them any longer. You will end up on your rocking chair, fondling them, polishing them, while muttering to yourself. Must get more, must get more!:what:

You can try the Swede Mauser therapy. Might work.
Nope. I tried the Spanish Mauser cure, and all it did was mutate. Now I still love me some Mosins plus I covet FR-8's. The good news is that the only known side effect is shrinkage of the wallet. :)

Fortunately, it's easy to figure out how many Mosins you need in order to quit craving more. Use this simple formula-
y=x+1
Y represents the total number of Mosins you need.
X represents how many Mosins you currently own.
Recalculate this each time you buy a new Mosin.
