Dan Wesson .44

Can anyone help me out here? I'm looking for a .44 blued shroud and barrel in the 8-10" range. I called cz and they don't make the shrouds so I ordered a 6" barrel for my shroud that came with the revolver. I'd like to get the longer barrels too. Anybody??:banghead:

I was at this gun store a while back and they had a box of Dan Wesson barrels and shrouds in the gun case. You might give them a call to see if they still have them:

Look on the gun auction sites, these come up from time to time. You just have to be patient.

A SuperMag shroud & barrel will work

A SuperMag shroud & barrel will work. The 44 barrel is identical. The shroud differs only in having a longer cutout for the ejector rod and being marked for one of the SuperMag calibers. All SuperMag shrouds are identical in dimensions, they differ from each other only in the caliber marking.

Ask Genny first if she can fix you up with a 44 barrel & shroud, if not, then go to a 445 barrel & shroud.

I'm pretty sure CZ\DW still makes the barrels and shrouds for most models. Here is an email I received from Genny back in July:

The shroud only for the 744 in 10" is $219.00. This price is good for the shroud with front sight only. We do not have to laser it if you prefer us not to. Just let me know. Shipping is extra. Thank you for contacting Dan Wesson Firearms.
