Daniel Defense M4

Got an opportunity to pick one of these up at a very reasonable price and am wondering if anyone has experience with one? It is obviously quality built, meets the specs on "the chart", and is exceptionally light for having the 12" Omega Rail. It felt really good to me and seems like what I am looking for, just don't know much about their full carbines yet.

they're quality stuff. i own a good bit of DD stuff, though not that particular gun. never had a problem

I've been looking at one as well. They are very high-quality pieces. If you don't like the awkward look of the original DD M4 with the long rail, you can get a DDM4 V2 with a carbine-length rail that does not extend beyond the front sight post or a DDM4 V3 with a midlength gas system.

Actually, I like the the 12" omega rail. I was impressed with how light the gun feels with that rail. Nice balance.

No one here actually owns or has any experience with the Daniel Defense? It rates above Noveske on the chart and no one here has an opinion? Shocking!!!!

It's supposed to be good. Like a LMT. But it's still new. I haven't played with DD rifles enough to have an informed opinion yet.

Probally why there's little response. We haven't seen much of them yet.
